Youssef Nassif (SY/D; kanun)

Youssef, a musician and composer, studied kanun and piano at the Conservatory of Music in Damascus. During his studies he performed concerts in Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, the Arab Emirates and Turkey.
Since moving to Germany more than three years ago, he has performed concerts throughout Germany and Europe. In 2015, he presented his latest Album, Man's Journey, with his own compositions.

He is active as a soloist and with chamber ensembles and orchestras, including the festival for contemporary music in Warsaw, with the STÜBA Philarmonic Orchestra in Weimar, a concert with Wajd Ensemble for the European Commission and with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
