The Festival Week, a long-time highlight of YSW, has become an essential part of the Weimar event calendar.
The week’s exciting day and evening programs promise a wealth of new surprises for veteran fans and first-time visitors alike: events include Mini-Workshops open to everyone, all-night concerts with world-class artists, Meet the Artist –  events, and lectures on Yiddish in Israel and on Israeli politics, culture and society.
The program will also include a series of original documentary films by the Israeli documentary filmmaker and Ophir Prize winner David Ofek.
So – whether you are from Weimar or the surrounding area, Thuringia or further afield – it’s definitely worth dropping by.
